Are you ready to step outside your comfort zone?
Hi Friends! My full name is Courtney Elizabeth and growing up some of my nicknames were Coco & Betty, thus the name Coco Betty. Feel free to call me Coco, I still answer to it. I empower women to love themselves through travel, one trip at a time.

I was born in New Mexico and my family moved to the Middle East when I was 9 years old. That was my first big adventure outside of the United States. For the next 10 years or so we traveled all around Europe, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean.
After high school, I moved to Ukraine to get some perspective and figure out what I wanted to do with myself & my life. While there I discovered my passion for photography & of course I just continued to fuel my passion for traveling.
Deciding that I needed to learn more about photography, I went to college at Brooks Institute in Southern California where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in photojournalism in 2010.

Right as I was graduating I met someone and moved back to New Mexico for them. We fell in love and followed all the steps eventually leading to marriage and a whole lot of unhappiness.
Finally, after years of feeling trapped in a troublesome marriage, I escaped to Italy with a friend and found the freedom & joy that I had sacrificed many years before. It took a long time and I am still learning to heal from the pain of that marriage but travel has always been the best therapist for me.
I started traveling again more and more and in 2018 I sold almost all of my belongings and have been pursuing my passion for travel & photography ever since. I make my way through different countries photographing my adventures & some amazing people along the way.
