Dia de Muertos & bicycles in Mexico City
As I mentioned in one of my previous posts there are always plenty of event in Mexico City and especially around the time of year for Dia de los Muertos. This was a huge nighttime bicycle riding event. They shut down the main street Paseo de la Reforma and people came out by the thousands and in costume! They rode up and down the street passing street art, vendors selling everything from popcorn to cotton candy to all sorts of street food. They rode past an entire concert that was taking place at the base of the Angel of Independence. It was packed with people in halloween costumes and sugar skull face paintings.
